Cake tasting....in the dark
So it figures we plan our biggest cake tasting of the year on 3/15, and the electric goes out at Laplace for 5 1/2 hours....Thank you to everyone who attended-we had almost 200 people come out for this one. We kept it goin with a generator and a few LED lights and made the best of it. At least all of the samples stayed delicious and the sun was shining bright into Laplace providing us with a lot of natural light. It was funny because some of our customers thought we did it on purpose to create some mood lighting-if only we were that creative. Thanks for being patient with us and for coming out today!!!

We had a great time today!! The cakes were awesome tasting and the power being out really wasn't that big of a deal once you got the little light that you did! Hey it is something we will all remember about the day! Well besides how yummy those cakes was :-)
